Creator's Comments: Quick things about the comic then about why I did it.  The first "Francis" was done on my WACOM.  Then I got an Epson cx 8400 (I think that's the model).  Aya was done by inking the original pencil drawing.  The second panel was done by tracing my pencil drawings with ink on tracing paper.  So that's why they all look a little different.  Just some experimental stuff.

Every season change I want to create a parody comic.  This is because I've noticed that many web comics really go unchecked.  There's no real quality control.  I saw on one web comic months ago the web cartoonist said, "This is a web comic.  You don't have to finish a story line.  Just jump to a new one and nobody will notice."  I'm sorry but when Shaun Handyside did it with Staccato, it pissed me off to no fucking end.  He was the reason I created this whole parody thing.  I wanted to call him out on that!  However John Joseco is on this fight story arc with "The Lounge" and there is just so much he should consider before he continues.  There is also just so much that I found unsettling with it.  One example is Italy's willingness to fly to New York to train for a fight but her reluctance to go to Japan to honor her dying father's wishes.

I really didn't know if I would have the heart to finish this comic.  I really love "The Lounge." However I liked the old work a lot better.  The newer comics seem to lack a certain heart to them.  The new comics are like a PS3 driving simulator.  Sure, they look nice but nothing's really being said.  They seem plot driven now rather than character driven.  That's what prompted "The Lounge" to be my first target of parody.  I know I don't really deserve to criticize Joseco.  He's a way better artist than I am and he's been doing this a lot longer.  My comic's only been on the web since May 1, 2007.  He also has way more readers than I do.  Unlike me he's also finished a story arc.  (I swear to God I'll get back to Lupin next week!)

I'll let you guys read the comic and see what I'm talking about.  This story arc starts right here.  By the way when she references E3, she's talking about when Elsa and Rain tried to lesbian date rape her.

My final word on this will be that Joseco has built up to this moment throughout the most of his web comic.  So now he needs to live up to that.  You can't cop out now Joseco.  Lesbian fan service can only keep so many fans for so long...

Aaron (former illustrator for "Your Face Is a Comic" and former reader of "The Lounge" says): "John Joseco just got owned!!!"

Which is kind of adds to my point considering Aaron was the person who told me about "The Lounge" and he quit reading it months ago citing its perpetual plot cycles.
